The dance studio, the art studio, the architecture studio - they have all been an integral part of my life and where I find creative focus and community. My art studio is in my backyard garage, off a friendly alley in an urban neighborhood in Denver, CO. The beautiful wabi-sabi brick walls are 120 years old and change color with the light. Our sunny Denver climate makes it possible to work with the garage door wide open, but I'm also out there bundled up next to a space heater on a chilly day. I love chatting with folks on their evening walk and find my studio is a great way to connect with my community. It's not unusual for a few kids and dogs to too take a lap around too. I often wander the alley with a painting in hand looking for a spot to take a photo against the beautiful weathered textures and colors.

Welcome to my studio, where the most of the making happens. The rest takes place perched on a mountain, rock, or lake!
